The SuperMicks are a 5 piece unsigned Kent based Rock Band.
Comprising of drummer Dan Lee Kennard, Lead vocalist/guitarist Wayne Jones, Lead/Rhythm guitarist Dave Dorman, Rhythm guitarist James Reeve and bassist Greg Edwards. The Band was officially formed in 2020, although there has been some changes since then. The SuperMicks write, produce and perform all their own original music.
The band are passionate about music and take influence from bands like Foo Fighters, Nirvana, Kings of Leon, Oasis, Alice In Chains, Rolling Stones, The Beatles, Queen and Chris Stapleton. The SuperMicks music could be described as alternative rock, comprising a fusion of blues with a more accessible and commercial sound.
The bands debut single HomeTown was released to various platforms including Amazon, Spotify and iTunes. To support the launch the boys created original artwork and brought together a music video which was shared across YouTube and Tiktok.
Their 2nd single We Don’t Need Work, featured a full launch event at one of Britain’s Best Small grass roots venues, Ramsgate Music Hall, with the support of talented fellow Musician Luke J Dorman, Daisy singer/songwriter and Delicia band.
On 30th Aug 2024 The SuperMicks debut EP Found Me, comprising 4 brand new tracks released onto all major platforms, including physical CD media, and later made available on Vinyl.
The SuperMicks supported Collateral on their UK headline Tour in late 2024 with 7 dates, kicking off at The Victoria in Swindon, then onto The Corporation in Sheffield and The Anvil Bar in Bournemouth. The 2nd leg started at the Six Six Bar in Cambridge, then onto The Bunkhouse in Swansea and The Soundhouse in Leicester. The tour culminated in an epic sold out finale at Leos Red Lion in Gravesend.
